"No more piles of paper questionnaires waiting for data entry! We love the CAPI system because our data is instantly in electronic format. Thanks!"
"Our study is going really well - we have reached our enrollment goals in record time thanks to the system you built for us."
"This is a quick note to let you know that the survey is going very well. After two 1/2 weeks, we have 73 completed surveys. Thanks so much for all your help getting us to this place."
"Thank you so much for the quick turn-around - we really appreciate all the time and effort you have put into this! The questions you added the pictures to look great - exactly what we were hoping for."
"The CASI system offered by Tufts filled all of our research needs, and even some we didn't even realize we had! Scott and his team are exceptionally professional, conscientious, and proficient in data collection methods. It is a pleasure to work with a group that is extremely familiar with the needs of researchers, and so experienced with data collection procedures. Their availability, expertise, and creativity were outstanding. They gave us ideas we hadn't even considered, and helped our data collection run more efficiently than we had expected. The CASI worked beautifully in a sample of middle school students. The interface is beautifully designed, easy to comprehend, and works smoothly. The setup was exceptionally user-friendly and useful for our research needs. Project staff were able to navigate the set-up and back-up systems within minutes. Everything was customizable and the collaboration with Scott allowed us to set up procedures that met every conceivable request. I am excited to recommend this CASI system for anyone who is considering computerized data collection!"

'Oral Health Status and its Correlates in Adults with Developmental Disabilities' funded by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research
"We needed to survey nearly 1,000 caregivers of adults with developmental disabilities - in busy dental clinic waiting rooms - about their experiences meeting the daily oral hygiene needs of the adults in their care. The caregivers represented a wide range of ages, levels of education, and degrees of knowledge about oral health. Using the CAPI survey made data collection faster, easier, cheaper and most importantly minimized errors. We were able to collect data from two or three caregivers at a time using multiple netbook computers, which saved time and money. The ‘cleanness’ of the data has expedited data analysis.
Even the study participants thought completing the survey on the netbook computer was user friendly and fun. We worked with Scott and Jeanette to build in an initial ‘tutorial’ for caregivers reluctant to participate because they lacked computer experience. The tutorial worked wonders – one caregiver couldn’t wait to get home to tell her husband she had just completed a computer-based survey – he wouldn’t believe it!
The study team was extremely helpful and adept at problem-solving; their expertise was invaluable. Thank you Scott and Jeanette!"
